I was very lucky to have seen him perform and to have met him.

I saw him twice ,once at the royal albert Hall and once at a" love in" at Earls court ( I think it was there, going to try and look it up to check). He was absolutely brilliant on both occasions.

I also "greeted" him and his girlfriend at Elliots a shoe shop in the Kings road, they were going to buy her some boots and I had to take them up in the lift. He was so lovely and seemed a really quiet and gentle type of guy. Such a talent , and such a terrible shame that we lost him so young.
