If Glastonbury was the only place you'd ever seen any live acts

This often 'comes home' to me every now and again, when I think of all the acts my daughters (and us!) have seen at Glastonbury. Many of them, they were fairly oblivious to (well so would you be at 4 years old...)..

but they've seen Brian Wilson, Paul McCartney, Bowie, Arthur Lee, The Who, Chemical Brothers, Faithless, Badger & Bodger, Plant and Page (almost Zeppelin), Springsteen, Neil Young and gawd knows who else, and now Stevie and U2 (well, they've already seen them, but still...)... the comedians, Shangri-la/Trash City, and all the random, amazing things that are happening ALL THE TIME

Can't think of any other festival/music event that covers such an immense spectrum...

and to think their schools didn't always give permission to go

f**k 'em, they came anyway

(Ps.. and no, I don't drag them along to see these people, they want to come..
