Hey all, been lurking on here for a while - it's such a good way to keep in the Glasto spirit all year round! My first Glasto was this year so 2010 will be my second and I think I will be getting some waterproof walking boots or shoes as I can't stand wellies! If anyone knows of any bargains around at the moment could you post a link on here.

you can get a discount card for them for £4 that entitles you to at least 10% off the price, sometimes more.

i got my hiking boots from there, they were £95 but only £55 with the discount card.

      I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.

      People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

      Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
