Mobile phone charging

When I went to the one in Staffordshire, they had like 3 or 4 different types of chargers for each phone, so like different samsung chargers and different lg chargers etc. And you stand around this big pole thing waiting for the charger you need.

I am just taking a car charger I have for my car when the battery runs flat, leave that in the car, charge it up for a few hours at the end of a night and pick it up in morning. Alternatively at Reading festival I get a locker from seetickets and leave my phone in there 1 night and charge it up. Costs £15 for a locker but I share the costs between like 10 mates and also means I can take more money but not keep it on me just in case I need it but dont want to lose it.

Last year they had a charging stall in the red campsite where you could leave your mobile for an hour or so with someone and they would look after it for you whilst it was charging. You had to pay though, I think.

The free charging points are good, but you have to stand there whilst your phone is charging, which is a bit of a pain!

    • Another new one from Overmono.   Album is shaping up nicely.
    • I'm only judging by highlights but considering that I saw a lot of anxieties from US fans about them getting it wrong after several bad results in the last year or so, they very much had it on opening night. Might be as much about Paraguay being a long way from the team that beat Brazil and Argentina in qualifying though.   Canada also doing something in a World Cup other than lose and arguably be good enough to have beaten Bosnia means reasonable start. Think they might regret not winning though.

    • I mean Two Door Cinema Club from that era have sold out Crystal Palace Bowl and played the O2 before. So there are indeed precedents.   I guess it depends how far the 2000s/2010s indie hierarchy we go before we truly find one that ends up getting blue dot fever.
