The efestivals dancing man could easily be added to the picture holding a kids hand or something.

Or shooing the child away towards their mothers (who will have to look after them) whilst loading the camping equipment into the car.

I think they'd be ace.

Non-fathers have conditions attached to gain entry:

  • All fathers must be waited on 24 hours a day to make up for 12 months of hard work

  • All non-fathers must remember vital equipment that fathers - in their hectic lives as parents might have forgotten (spare phone battery, extra keg of ale etc)

  • Only fathers have the choice of music on the camp stereo

  • We are 'Efests Fathers Camp' - the first non-father to use the words 'father' and 'camp' to make some sort of joke about the band Gay Dad will be banned from the campsite

  • We're dads. We know best. Don't argue with us.

  • X Factor is shit. Nothing to do with this list, but worth mentioning I'm sure you'll agree

  • Non-fathers must always give up their seats if fathers need them. We feel older, so f**k off and make room for us

  • We're going into the Kids Field. Non-fathers can't. We're allowed to in the same way that we can go into the Early Learning Centre with or without our offspring. It's a right we have.

<Goes giddy at the thought>

We have 12 months. It's a shame mikeb isn't a dad (at least, I don't think he is) because his monorail badge efforts were awesome.

Done. Might even ahve to do something sad like setup a facebook site :-)

I also know a nice T-Shirt supplier. we make a lot of T-Shirts at work. I think it makes up for the non existence of any corperate strategy.

Fathers Camp must have a bar tent :-) I have a gas fridge and a fram tent :-)

I love the Dad's camp idea, and I reckon you'll have lots of little enclaves of Dad's all over the site if the idea snowballs. My camp motto will be;

DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO!

All tents should be securely pegged.

All boots should be removed in the outer, not the inner tent.

Fire points should be memorised on arrival in case of fire.

Children should be seen and not heard.

Ale should NEVER be chilled.

Dad's get spliffs rolled for them all weekend by non-Dads.
