If that picture is anything to go by they are past 2008 conditions.

Sadly we need more data. I NEED more data. Texting pople I know who are there.

My wife thinks I am having an episode. :-)

Data from the site is misleading - the bastards have been trying to make me jealous all sodding week, so they're not going to say 'it's horrible - sopping wet - we want to come home'.

It's not an episode mate - it's just a very unhealthy obsession. Nowt wrong with that. You're not alone either.

And if that photo is from this year, it's worse than last year. It NEVER got that bad last year. There is still time for it to dry up but they need to avoid any more rain.

Hi Guys,

Another frustrated punter here! can I join your gang?? I've only been to 1 Glasto in the last 4 years now!! (2006 fallow, 2007 1st son born 3 weeks prior, 2009 2nd son born 4 weeks ago)!!! absolutley gutted! (Again)

If it's any help on the weather front it's still spitting in Burnham on Sea (I can see the tor from my office window) pretty heavy rain on the way down this morning, I reckon conditions will be similar to last year, bit of mud today, dry by tommorrow afternoon if the sun comes out lively!

I've got a locals ticket for Sunday (all the mrs would allow)!!

I've got my doubts about it though, I reckon that when i get there I'm just gonna feel like I've missed a great party!! arrrghhhh!!!

I'm In!!

Is it wrong to be more concerned by Events at, and not being at Glasto, than my new arrival??!!!

I've also secretly talking down Glastonbury to any of my mates that were thinking of going, less damaging the fewer of your best mates that are there!!

What truely sad bastard I am!!.......

Four years after retiring from Glasto and I can honestly say this is the first time I'm really, really wishing I was there at Worthy Farm again.

Time marches on and other commitments (notably a young child) take over, but I'm v v jealous of everyone who has a ticket this year.

Anybody else got that gnawing feeling that's only made worse by a compulsion to visit the eFestivals forum???

06Z run shows more lightish showers this afternoon, ukdaasfan looks like I'm eating my words.

I think the Wolf has called it, worse than last year but not quite 2004.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
