i have to clear my intray by the end of tomorrow, well i dont HAVE TO but it will be much better for my return if i do cos my job is stupidly busy but also very boring (bad combination) so i am trying to get it done but finding it hard to be bothered esp now i've eaten dinner and feel sleepy!

As for tomorrow there's no chance of work especially not tomo afternoon, i'm gonna try and finish early to cut short the torture!

Well after waking up at 5am because excitement got the better of me and I couldn't sleep, I got into work for 7.30am, an hour and a half early. I have managed to get all the basic stuff done that needs doing but doesn't require too much focus or brain power but now I have to somehow focus my mind long enough to do the difficult stuff.

I have also sent about 10 non-work emails to Glasto-going friends!

I'm at work until Wednesday (booooooo) I'm trying my best not to spend the next 3 days just messing around on these boards and staring at idly the clock too much cos it only makes things go slower. If I can actually make myself do some work then - bingo - all of a sudden it'll be 5pm on Wednesday.

But I know I will be spending most of the next 72 hours looking out of the window and daydreaming about the unrelenting sunshine we're gonna be bathed in for the whole of this weekend :P

Argh, I've had a couple of nasty phonecalls to deal with already today, adding to my workload, and reducing my Glastobaiting opportunities.

Might just turn the work phone off.

    • I'm not sure, they aren't giving any headliner in that format 2hours and Foos would have at least 2. I wouldn't say Reading is likely for them next year either. If they are as said going big on a tour with stadiums and festivals then the UK is once place they can definitely do stadiums and that would rule them out. And that's even if they come back for a second UK stint as I fully expect them in Europe from very early. That could be seen as hyperthetical but there are is some places I cannot see them not doing from history.
    • One problem could be that many of the hospitality packages are already sold out. Unless you’ve a media contact, media organisations normally get a hospitality allocation.
    • I agree on WA taking a year off in 2027. But if they got the call from R&L could see them having a similar August to what Fontaines are doing now. A few random shows + 2/3 other festivals. The festival/LN does seem to love them as well so there is a chance they take a punt.   I did see about Rodrigo potentially doing a stadium in Poland but no clue if that would be 2027 or 2028, I just can't see her at the Fest at all, seems too big in current climate.   If I were to guess the headliners next year I'd go with Fred Again/Foos/Capaldi/Olivia Dean/Biffy or Wolf Alice/Some Rapper, Tems?
