me and my friends (10-12) are staying in markfield on the friday night,

we were wondering what the best form of transport to get back (11:30-12:00) would be.

does a bus run at that time?

if not what would be the best/only minibus taxi service?

your almost but not quite in luck.

there is a bus, the arrive 28a. the last bus departs st margarets bus station (which is the other side of the city centre) at 11pm.

so if you's have to get a cab from DMH at 10.40 at latest to catch that.

so you might be better off pre-booking a cab if you want to leave the hall later on.

it's a 20 - 25 min drive to markfield from DMH. I'd budget on around £20 for a cab?

we're trying to strike up a cab deal for a local cab firm for ssw fringe punters, so i may be able to (hopefully) recommend a cab firm shortly?

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.

    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
