the download official website has a webcam and it's pretty handy to see what the (real - not forecast!) weather's like and to see if the ground is boggy or dry etc.

just wondered if there will be one for reading, has there been a webcam in the past?

it might help me to pack more lightly so i'm not sweating & breaking my back walking from the car park to the site.

Can't remember them doing this sort of thing in the past.

Maybe suggest it to them? For all their faults with repeat bookings and high prices, FR are very good at trying to bring new ideas which add to the experience. If you tell them they could very well listen.

As an aside it doesn't matter what the weather's like, if you pack so much that you're struggling to walk from your c*r/bus/train to the campsite, it's going to be a miserable walk whatever the weather.
