been waiting patiently on my tickets (most of my friends have theirs) but again the postie never put any through my letter box today so thought id give them a call. While i was waiting on an operator coming on (about 30mins!!) and listening to stupid music i realised that i had an account and could check the status of the tickets.......went on and guess what?! said that my order had been cancelled, so by this time i was raging, eventually when i managed to speak they told me that my order hadnt been cancelled and that in fact the system had crashed or something and they had placed a new order within my order ;) i asked when i was going to get my tickets then and he said they still hadnt been dispatched but would be with me no less than 5 days before the event. Considering i paid for the tickets (early bird) back in december and my friends paid for theirs about a month ago and have theirs I am not impressed in the slightest! <_<

anyone else suffered similar problems?

xx

I had the 'bought early bird tickets but ticketmaster online said the order was cancelled problem' and yeh it's something about they cancel the early bird ticket but don't put a new order in for the actualy ticket, I'm not sure I wasn't totally listening on the phone....but I've got my ticket, arrived about 2 weeks ago. However, a couple of mates are having the same issue as you, just Ticketmaster being knob ends as usual I'm afraid!

Maybe I'm missing the point but what's the problem if people get the tickets in time for the event? I've had T in the Park tickets arrive 3 days before. If you have paid for them, you will get in. Even if the ticket doesn't arrive you can collect it at the box office.

I think the problem is that people pay through the nose for tickets & an very high handling fee, you would expect a half decent service for this. Why should someone need to go to the trouble of picking up tickets at the box office. Lets face it, ticketmaster are pish!

Her point is that on her account page on the ticketmaster website it says that her order has been cancelled...it's a happened to alot of people from what the guy on the helpline told me, like your order hasnt actually been cancelled, it's the early bird order that was cancelled or something...just ticketmaster being pish!

I done the same, went to check online and it has said order had been cancelled. When I called them it didn't take me long at all to get thro to someone and they assured me order wasn't cancelled and ticket would be dispatched in time.

My order had also said cancelled. If you buy early bird tickets by paying the deposit, they cancel that order and place a new one when you pay the balance. Somehow, the account part on the website doesn't update but apparently, they are working on it.

Hope you get your tickets soon, I've got friends who bought early birds who are still waiting on theirs too.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
