I went along to my local Tiso camping shop as I noticed on their website that if you buy a Vango Beta tent then you can get a Vango Nitestar 250 sleeping bag free with it!! This is a 2 season sleeping bag and I had hoped to get a 3 season because it would keep me much warmer. I sent my local shop an email asking if I could have the Vango Nitestar 350 along with the tent instead and pay the £10 difference (the 250 was £30 and the £40 individually) and they suprisingly agreed. When I got there in person the woman who served me wasn't happy about this deal I had secured and couldn't emphasise enough that they don't normally do this type of thing. basically all I am saying is the Vango 350 mummy sleeping bag is ace :P

I've just been into Millets, and they've got some great deals on at the moment. They're doing a "buy one get second half price" promotion on all their stuff.

They're doing 20% off Eurohike stuff so i got this sleeping bag

for it (since it doesn't come with one) which was discounted to half price in the promotion so was only £4.

They're doing the deals online too but if you go in store then you can have a proper look.

I usually find them overpriced so I was surprised to get something at a good price for a change!

I'm interested in this camp bed option - and wonderful storage space underneath! But do the legs damage the groundsheet?
