Was anyone else in the tent that had the band playing the violins, fiddles etc and think there was a DJ? It was sht hot and hope they have it again this year. Think it may have been local bands or a radio station sponsoring the tent.

Ooo I was there too, it was so much fun. I lost pretty much everyone bar my mate Macca and we were going wild, it was like an electric ceilidh.

It wasnt Farquhar MacDonald and his band by any chance.

Need to search the name and see what it brings up. I want it to be him as Farquhar is a well cool name. Reminds me of Shrek

In The SOCO tent on the fri night (one of the best night of my life)

There was a DJ playing and he did a ceilidh song. Was well good. Does anyone know who the DJ was? Every song was banging! Was puuurty fooked though.....

Yeah i think everyone that went in that tent on the friday night had a blast! it was really good fun, the atmosphere was spot on.

If they were a funky folky band I cant really I think it may have been Leatherhead?

We saw them early on either the saturday or Sunday and had a cracking Jig to get going for the rest of the day ahead.

Not sure if that is the correct name as i was fairly toasted from the night before but im positive it started with an L!!!

I remeber them saying that they were from shetland or orkeny or some Highaland Island.
