The whole ‘put a smaller act to headline the Pyramid’ argument is one of the most moronic ones going. as many have said. Why would they do that when they can get same up and coming act to headline Woodies (where they are much more suited) and also put a massive stadium act on the pyramid (and in the case of Coldplay/ Radiohead usually play for free). “sorry Coldplay/ U2/ Madonna/ Elton John… we’re going to turn you down because we want park headliners Wolf Alice and Wet Leg to give it a shot instead. We’re also putting a local band from Glasto town to headline the park instead cos you know it’s like cool man..”

As a ten club member I paid £75 for front circle for Hyde park. I’m surprised with these prices. It’s not usually their bag at all to charge big prices .

They actually toured for years without Christine. So it wouldn't be unusual. John McVie hasn't been very well though I think. In the end, it's whether Stevie can cope being on tour with Lindsay. They really hate each other these days. If they did they would definitely call it the last tour...'The Last Dance'? and it would sell buckets. I think if it happens it would have to be in the next 3 years (2015-17). Otherwise, sadly someone else will not be able to tour anymore or worse.

Exactly. Although I think they generally start with smaller acts/ stages to give it momentum. Otherwise the risk is if you have Madonna one Friday then some unknown indie band the next, if you’re that unknown band the groans and disappointment would be harsh..😂

I've always imagined the crazy idea of releasing an act a day. Blanked out/ misted over acts on poster that slowly get revealed through the year. Gives them all their moment for 24 hours. But I guess where do you start? What stage is too small etc? Cos you can't have everyone, not enough days in the year. I know wouldn't work but imagine.....

Indeed her Tapestry - Hyde Park set from 2016 is sublime. I really can't think of anyone more suited to the legend set.

IIcon would be OK however Iccon has own lighting and Chroma is all about their own AV. Park headline? They were due to headline there a few years back but then covid. Bicep live are too big for Park but maybe Chroma DJ be OK.

I'd be all over a PG show at Glasto too. I just can't see where he'd fit in. Years ago I'd say Jazz World headliner but now WH has mostly dance stuff headlining so I can't see it. Perhaps a mid-afternoon Pyramid Crowded House style set is the only vague possibility.

If Grace Jones is legend slot it would be the first year for ages where I've not gone. Not over keen on a load of covers. I've always thought her to be a load of hype/ drama and not much substance. I can't see many of the picnic sunday crown naming many songs of her either. The Eagles are headliner or nothing. They have 3 nights booked at the new 'biggest arena in UK ' which is being built. Farewell tour etc. No way they would play sub.
