  1. Fail for me. Decent line-up if you've not been in the ;ast few years but very uninspriing for me as I've been every year for the last 5.

LOTS of repeats & I expect the next announcement to be very pop heavy. Still Madness is a nice addition & Skunk Anansie are fantastic live.

  2. Well they have had another album since they last played V haven't they? They are an amazing live band (probably will be the bet live band at the whole festival), and they offer something different before Kasabian, while at the same time appealing to a massive amount of people who will be wanting to see Kasabian. I remember last year, it was Snow Patrol before Oasis. I would have killed to have seen The Prodigy before Oasis rather than being subjected to the snoozefest Snow Patrol offer.
  3. comments like that are just dumb, it sells out every year, thing is with download and soni taking the rock acts, reading takes more indie bands and thus v books more pop. Which looks like the way its guna stay, if thats the case they may as well go after the big guns. People need to face it v is a pop festival. Its had to adapt to stay successful, which it is.
  4. Hmmmm… I’m not so convinced about the Charlatans.

A few years ago, you could guarantee that at any festival anywhere, they’d probably be playing.

I have all my fingers crossed for Iggy though!. :P It has to be true! it has to be!.

  5. Was that really that long ago!.

I’ve been to check!, [it was true, and no I'm not bothered about seeing them again!] but I also found out that it’s the 5 year anniversary of Sonic Youths appearance!.

    That’s surly worth celebrating?!?.

    :P
