What's so wrong with them? Decent enough fun band to watch in the sunshine with a cider & perfectly aimed at R+L demographic.
Been wanting to see them for ages & finally got tickets for Brixton but I find out I'm on standby

Bands won't come over unless they get a string of dates together to make it worthwhile, I think its cus actual sales of albums are down cus of illegal downloading bands make most their money from touring and merch, so they have to try and get the most dates possible when they do these tours

Band : Yes, that would be an honor.
Now its :
Band : *ring, ring* We're decided to play 15 Festivals in Mainland Europe
Festival : Oh,....well come and play ours too then.
Fuck! what happened to writing a list of bands you wanted to play, and then going out and booking them.
Maybe then the line-ups wouldn't be so dull, and predictable.

It's about time this festival got off its arse, and sorted itself out.
It's got two choices
a) go against theses silly "they'll never play that low" etc, etc comments....
or
Think outside the box a bit more. Putting more boring shit like Bloc Party (how many times have they played already!) as headliner, isn't really an option.

I didn't think much to the Strokes again at all.
Janes' still looks the better option.

I had cancer this year, and had to have the bone marrow sample too. I was sat in the waiting room, and the woman (40-50) before me came out crying and screaming, and hugged her husband whispering so loudly so everybody in the room could hear "that was the worst experience of my life", and going on and on and on about the pain!.
Honestly what a slut!. For those few minutes, before they called my name I've never been so frightened.
I didn't find it too bad to be honest, apart from that bit when they waggle it free! ouch!.
Thanks though from people like me, to all those who offer help to others.

I'd say there was way too much 'Pop' in the Reading line-up, which is again one of the problems.
Some of you are making this sound like ATP with all this 'alternative' talk, and its certainly a whole million miles from that.
