  1. yah security is lax before tuuesday morning but thats because the bar doesn't open till wednesday evening usually
  2. there is only 1 bar and has always been only one bar its at the top near the gate to the feft of the stage as ou look at is - the backstage/ crew bar is only accessable if you have additional wrist bands - there is a special park wrist band and the crew wristband needed or hospitality band
  3. there is a bar but its not designated as a crew bar - its a backstage bar and you need a completely different wrist nand to get into it
  4. I will be driving in and onsite every day from Friday night 21st june if you need a lift with your gear message me and we can see if I can help. From Sat onward usually get to site about 9 am if that helps but can be flexible
  5. Try Bar Italia on Park stage they went onto my try to see list last week
  6. the yellow dot is where I have camped the last 8 or 9 years and where I plan to be again this year
  7. I admit to being biased as I get a privileged place to watch the bands up on Park Stage. but regardless of that Still a really eclectic and interesting line up - bit of something for everyone there there is at least 7 things I'd be unhappy to have shift clash with.
  8. sent my trusted bell tent off to be cleaned and re proofed in time for the shenanagans
  9. Quite right - early on a tuesday about 8pm
  10. I'm a reasonably seasoned Glastonbury goer this year being my 14th in a row and 17th in total. I had 3 really wet ones where wellies were a necessity (waders would have been a better option in 2007) Every year I bring wellies and take them home without putting them on. I am predicting a wettish one this year and am considering my trusty walking boots paired with gaiters. Any thoughts or recommendations on the gaiter front? of just the £14 option from go outdoors? many thanks
  11. there was a worthy rest space in the park and at silver hayes last year they were staffed with mental health professions sadly not 24 hours but they were there a lot. I run a team of 12 up at the park and on my little team we have 3 mental health first aiders and my daughter who is a qualified NHS psychiatric nurse. and I can't speak for the other 300 volunteers in the park but I seriously doubt we are the only ones nor will we be the only ones for the whole site. there is help for people who are struggling or need a space or a person to talk to. it was drummed into the volunteers last year about where to send people who were having a crisis so most stewards should be able to at the very least point you in the right direction - enjoy the festival, make sure you have at least one person in your group that is aware of your concerns
  12. 3 from 2022. Khrunangbin backstage the park, Four Tet and name that Bar? (if you know you just know!
  13. this is exctly what the stewards around the fsatival would love to help with - they'll all have the info and how best to get there . the stewards are there to help you
  14. Me too - will start going onsite from the evening thursday 20th, set up all my gear on Friday Saturday, then start ferrying teams gear in Sunday Monday, pretty much stay onsite Monday 24th to-Monday 1st - then up and out, off site by 0730 monday morning at home by 0830 for bath and snooze
