We had similar for Reading one year (think it was 2002)...sold out in Oxford, had to jump on a train to Reading (ironically) and get them from the HMV there. 1998 Glastonbury I assume people were eventually being paid to actually go in given the state of the weather! ha!

I remember being with a mate of mine when he bought his for 1999 and I was buying mine for Reading. We went into HMV in Oxford and no queues no nothing, just paid the money - they printed it off and that was that. Oh how times have changed....

I've said before perhaps GFL should sell them in independent record shops again and see who has the stamina to camp outside a shop to get them....(will never happen tho!)

2004 was my first....I was at uni at the time and I sat there drinking £1 a pint in the student union trying on my phone and a mates laptop...no joy so started trying when I get home and eventually got them about 6.30am!

I find with some companys/events/festivals etc they haven't got any presence apart from their own website or FB so I have to log into my girlfriends account to find things out. Mildly frustrating...I think Twitter is a much better platform for info tbh.

Just like the Glastonbury panic every year! Although I did have a car parking ticket arrive on the Wednesday morning in 2007! (in the days before we started leaving at 4am)

Hosted a mini one night festival for my 40th on Saturday night in my future father-in-law's garden....125 people...still struggling now and that was only one night! Think this festival level of getting smashed hasn't been on my radar for a long time (started drinking at 4.30pm and stopped at 5am)

Can anyone tell me if any of the stalls are in the campsites as well or are they only in the 'arena' area? Thinking for things like coffee and juice in the morning and breakfast bits.
