Sitting round the campfire post headliners tailed off for our group around 2008/09 once the late night stuff really got going and people preferred to gurn away at dance stage all night rather than stare into a fire at the tents.

Roof box and bars have been booked to hire, being fitted on the Tues PM and returned Tues PM a week later, cost £95 so £22.50 each split between four of us. Thanks to everyone suggesting it on here. 🙂

Temple Meads to New Street on the train takes just over an hour and run well into the evening, no extra day annual leave needed.

MrsG1990(who won't do camping festivals, so won't be at Glastonbury) is a MASSIVE Air fan, so much we had Moon Safari play at our ceremony when we got married last year and I got her tickets for the Royal Albert Hall show at the end of May for her birthday. I was convinced when I saw the dates that given they would be in the UK when Glastonbury is on that I would be able to see them twice inside a month, and as you say the MS reviews have been top notch so I was very surprised to not see them on the poster. Could have possible seen a high end Park or Other stage appearance.
