  1. Car passes now £55 - is on the site - up from £50 (might be wrong) Prices for Campervans are also on there - someone else would have to give you comparisons Worthy View etc just spectulation at this point
  2. I absolutely dispair at these statements, smacks of generalisation and ignorance If you cut takeaway the extremely well curated 'late night areas' as you call them, you end up with thousands and thousands of people with less to explore and enjoy during the night time, who will more than likely turn to the campsites for their entertainment instead and you likely end up with the anarchy you have at Reading year on year because there's nothing for people to do
  3. I waited until my mid 20s for my first Glasto, and am now in late 20s and our group actually enjoy the lack of people below the 20 age bracket As much as Glasto should be for everyone, I think there's something to be said for not having an abundance of teenages in the fields
  4. Right that makes more sense Back to my original stance - can't believe the average age of attendees is in the 40s
  5. Co-Op doesn't sell booze unlike at other festivals
  6. There's no way the average age of attendeeds is in the 40s
  7. I thought there was a general consensus that M&E applied pressure to keep prices as low as possible and insisted on initiatives such as Food for a Fiver?
  8. Along the old rail tracks you mean? Apologies my 'lol' was more in disbelief rather than directed at you, it's just not something I've ever experienced or thought at all close to happening whilst on site
  9. Yeah this is exactly the point I'm making. Will be markedly more expensive one you're inside those gates for sure However I think we were all expecting more expensive prices that we were greeted with this year, so mayb Emily and Michael will keep true to keeping stuff relatively affordable on site, and absorbing that is perhaps part and parcel of the increase in ticket price
  10. lol knives and fights, you sure?
  11. Snack for Six? Scran for Seven?
  12. These cost increases are literally likely to have been to keep the current level of quality on offer the same, I wouldn't expect anything above and beyond what has been on offer previously. Inflation is real and effects different comodities and services differently Further to this - If the price hike has been 19/26% (vs 2022/2019 purchase point) - how much do we reckon everything on site will be hiked by? Food for a Fiver feels doomed
  13. New prices + a 2005 style wash out = 2024 doesn't sell out 😉
  14. All feeling very real now isn't it
  15. yeah good point tbh, you wouldn't want that side of the festival to go either
  16. Website says £55 for parking, saved you a tenner lad
  17. Similar spread of reactions to here from the spaces I'm in
  18. Lots of people at work saying its too expensive now Could be set for a slower sell out than usual?
