  1. I had a decent position for Wolf Alice and thought should I stay there for 90 minutes for the same spot for AM but decided I did not want to miss BMTH. So lost my decent spot and was a way back for AM but so glad as BMTH stole the show for me and was somewhat underwhelmed by the Monkeys. Ollie Sykes is an amazing front man and as I went to the same school as both Ollie and 3 of Arctic Monkeys (Stocksbridge High School) was great for Ollie to give it a shout out. My Son had a spot in the front section and decided to stay there from the Lathams onwards so missed BMTH but had a fantastic view of AM.
  2. After seeing both Wolf Alice and BMTH smash Leeds Fest it would be a yes from me. Can't see BMTH fitting the Tramlines demographic regardless of being from Sheffield but certainly put on an amazing set yesterday. Fontaines DC would also be on my list after performance at Leeds. All three way better than the lackluster Arctic Monkeys.
  3. My Son and his mates have weekend tickets but are not camping as just 16 - maybe next year ! As we will be dropping off and collecting early does anyone know if there is e designated drop off and collection point and if it is crazy getting out at the end of each day ? Thanks
  4. DMA's and Self Esteem way better than Vaccines and Wombats - give you that James slightly better than The Charlatans. Both DMAs and Self Esteem are top of their game rather than were 10 years ago. Dizzee purely for the impact he had in 2021 when he put poor Supergrass well in the shade.
  5. Friday Stereophonics - The Charlatans - The Snuts Saturday Gerry Cinnamon - DMA's - Easy Life Sunday Dizzy Rascal or Tom Grennan - Self Esteem - Red Rum Club I would be happy with this.
  6. I took a pouch of Rum in my pocket on Sunday and one in a picnic rug on Saturday. Wife had a couple of pouches of Gin 'on her person' Friday and Saturday. We did have 3 bottles of 7 Up confiscated though.
  7. The Beer offering at the Craft Bar was excellent.
  8. Agree on the DJ area. There was a Rum Bar that had a DJ and tunes blasting out and was busy all the time with people.
  9. Same for me - both lap tops queuing and then my Wife got in straight away on phone. Got Eraly Bird too. Still very good value IMO.
  10. One word for next years Headliner - Gerry !!!! After GC would like to see: Red Rum Club, The Charlatans, Sea Girls, Tom Grennan, Stereophonics, maybe someone a bit different like Chemical Brothers, DMA's, The Snuts and a slot on the main stage probably subbing for Self Esteem who was amazing in the tent this year. Possibly even the return of Dizzy to Headline this time.
  11. My Saturday list is .... October Drift or Everly Pregnant Brothers Sheafs Inhaler Crawlers Little Man Tate Self Esteem Kasabian
  12. Not heard anything as yet. Last year it was no trams due to the works on the track at Shalesmoor and previous year a strike. Not good. We head back towards Stocksbridge and our public transport afterwards is a nightmare.
  13. Fender at Glasto and Kasabians slot at Isle of Wight have really made the headline slots very good bookings. Also Self Esteems set should be a cracker after how she went down at Glastonbury. Think some of the support acts are a bit weaker but these alone make it great value.
  14. Its not just the ticket costs but more the costs of thing once inside. Saw a picture of the Bar prices from the Lytham Festival where it is £6.50 for a pint of 3.8% Carlsberg. I have paid £80 for a Tramlines weekend ticket which is excellent value.
  15. Don't think I will venture far from the Main Stage by the looks of it. Was hoping Sports Team would have been in the tent as opposed to the Main Stage. Thought it was a decent line up initially but seeing it all laid out not so sure now.
  16. Very disappointed with the new additions music wise, especially as now minus The Snuts. Comedy line up very decent if thats your thing. Will still be a great weekend and hopefully get to suss out some new acts. Just hoping James are not headlining the main T'other Stage as wanted to see both them and Sam Fender. If they do clash it will be James.
  17. Hoping for a late DMAs addition along with Red Rum Club. Think there might be T'Other Stage Headliners to be announced yet as can't see who stands out as a lot of similar acts.
  18. Hope you haven't forgotten us Tramliners ?
  19. Tramlines hinting at further acts announcement. Anyone any ideas who ? Hoping for DMA's
  20. What days and where are you staying ? I'm an old sod so you may need some younger advice. Sheffield City Centre is not the best in all honesty in my opinion. Best bars are on Division Street so go down there. Late on Saturday night The Green Room which is a poky little place is great for indie tunes. In place seems to be Kelham Island which is about 1.5miles from Centre. Google Steelyard too which is all containers. There is an Indie Bar there. From a Club perspective there is the legendary Leadmill.
  21. Went to Gerry Cinnamon at Sheffield Arena last night - bloody awesome. Tramlines get your ass in gear and get him booked.
  22. So Headliners so far are ..... Stereophonics Chemical Brothers
  23. Saw Tom Grennan last night in Sheffield and was very good. Would like to see him on the Main Stage line up in 2022.
  24. Keep a look out. We all love @JBarbour cryptic clues.
