Around a decade ago..... one festival afternoon..... at a backstage bar.... I served this performer around half a dozen quadrupole straight vodkas in less than an hour...... Each and every round they offered to buy me a drink AND gave a super generous tip..... They had just come off stage..... Who was it.......?
Amy Winehouse?

Are we assuming Wednesday 23 to Sunday 27 June for the 2021 festival, if they were following the normal convention?

Another one that I have no idea about,
I have a very excited 11 year old that was coming to Glastonbury , next year he will be 12, so he’ll need a ticket - but obviously didn’t get him one.
It’s small in the grand scheme of things but what a mess
If he was going to be 11 this year he would be ok next year as it is 12 and unders who are free. I on the other hand have a 12 year old daughter who didn't need a ticket to come with me and my son this year but would need one aged 13 next year.

Crowded House are Saturday.

Just checking re the spreadsheet.
For people trying for coach tickets is the convention that if not stated otherwise in the comments they would take either Wednesday or Thursday but with a preference for Wednesday?

I can't believe they removed Milk from the setlist, fingers crossed it makes it back in for Manchester. I mean "Me" is an amazing song and is in my top 5. But Milk. I cannot compromise on Milk.
This is based off setlist.fm, I'm really hoping someone made an error. @DareToDibble care to be the bearer of good or bad news?
Afraid so son.

Signed up to Efestivals this morning just to say thank you to everyone who has given such sound advice on this subject.
Having done many festivals before in my younger years I have only ever been to Glastonbury once in 2011. 10 years later my wife & I are hoping to be lucky enough to go next year with our 2.5 year old son.
Just regarding the family camping areas, what size tents do most people tend to have? Ideally we would like to take a "larger" tent but don't want to take the mick if there's limited room.
Thank you in advance for your help. Any other suggestions/considerations are much appreciated.
Can only speak directly for Wicket Ground where there were quite a lot of large tents e.g. six man with separate living area.
By the time we got there on Thursday lunchtime there were a few big gaps left for such large tents and plenty of gaps for smaller ones.
I know space in Cockmill is at much more of a premium due to proximity to the Kidzfield and it gets full a lot quicker, on Wednesday.
It's first come first served so if you go for Cockmill it depends how early you plan to get there and how guilty you would feel about taking extra space when you know that some families will miss out on camping there.

Did you have any issues with ID taking your 12 year old nephew? We also have the same situation this year with our 12 year old son. Thanks
I was asked to show ID for my 5'8" 11 year old daughter. They were happy with photocopy of her passport as advised on the Glastonbury website.

Cheers for the heads up - my mate said the same (something to do with the hills apparently).,
Manchester is bad enough but the Lake District really isn't the most obvious place for an outdoor festival ⛈

I thought his “I’ll be going as a punter” comment implied their absence on the bill altogether, personally. They weren’t really in the running to headline this year anyway as they don’t fit the male solo artist/glastonbury newcomer description, so unsure why it has been framed as them not headlining. Still, it’s just guesswork and they could still be there but I’m starting to think they may be there in 2021 instead.
It's because they all laughed as though in on a joke when the drummer said 'I think we're busy' - combined with their comment about their one remaining wish of headlining Glastonbury 'not being something impossible' my money is on a secret set this year and headline Pyramid in 2021.

Being massive in Belgium is the new “big in Japan”.
Perhaps I have some Belgian in me* but I would be very happy having Editors as an option on Friday night.
Seeing them at Manchester Apollo at end of February as part of a greatest hits tour and for my money that means lots of bangers.

Correct re getting ticket on bus. Some drivers give out at the start point when first getting on board and some at the first stop.
Couldn't find any published timetable last year. Only Bristol and London are purchased with a specified time.
Manchester times last year were between 6am and 12pm. We wrote to See Tickets customer service requesting early departure.
They gave a standard response just saying when we would find out but we did get put on the 6am. No idea if my email made a difference or just coincidence.

That amount would last me 6 months
I'd recommend you still empty it at least once a week or it could get a bit minging

They would.
Just been onto the National Express site again on both phone and PC.
It let's me click single or return but if I click single from Bristol it's still asking for a return date and not letting me click Book Now unless I change it to a return and select a return date.
Edit: I've just found that it will let you book a single if you click this link:
https://www.nationalexpress.com/coach/glastonbury/index.html
But not if you click this one which comes up first on Google:

Thanks for your reply.
I’m positive there’s a shuttle bus that runs from Bristol to the festival site though. I think I’ve read it’s a lot cheaper than whatever you’ve paid for your coach also. Hopefully someone can confirm maybe save you some coin. It’s 23 miles according to google maps. Granted you probably have to take a different direction for traffic slow.
From looking at the festival website there was a direct shuttle from the festival site to Temple Meads on the Sunday and Monday for £15 per person one way.
On the way to the festival it looks like there wasn't a direct shuttle from Temple Meads but you could get one via Wells or Glastonbury town.
I'm pretty sure that National Express wouldn't let us book a single from Bristol Coach Station to the festival (which would have been ideal for us and allowed us to get the shuttle direct to Temple Meads on the Monday).

We are travelling down from Manchester to Bristol by train on Wednesday evening.
National Express from Bristol Bus and Coach Station to Gate A are listed as 1h 15m on Thursday morning and 1h 45m return on Monday morning due to extra traffic.
It's about a mile from Temple Meads to the coach station so probably a taxi. May be other bus options but it works ok for us stopping in Premier Inn by coach station on Wednesday.
National Express cost £100 return for me and two kids.

I am in the exact same position this year - watching on TV for as long as I can remember, finally gonna make it this year, with a 14 year old and a 10 year old in tow!! Sounds very similar 😀
You'll have a ball I'm sure. One or two compromises of course but everyone had a great time and got to see most of what they wanted to see.
We even managed a trip around the naughty corner on Friday night before catching the end of Jon Hopkins.
One thing that helped was a couple next to us at the Foals set giving my daughter a couple of plastic pint glasses to turn upside down and use as stilts for a better view.
She made good use of them for the rest of the weekend especially when stood with our backs against a barrier or sound desk (which was also good for sitting down between bands).

Finally making it to Glastonbury after years of watching on TV and finding myself watching the end of Basil Brush whilst hearing Kylie on the Pyramid was one of the more surreal moments of my life.

Think there was a reference to foot recycling that should be food recycling, although my feet did feel like they needed recycling after five days 😉
