It's normal for these questionnaires. 18-21 is a group and 40+ is a group too.
Yes, I’m not bitter I’m now in a group with my 85 year old gran. She can get the beers in

Done - despite having but dumped into a large group of 'old' people..................... 40 + indeed
This. Found this bizarre. Also the questions were pretty confusing for us old people

You had a bash of em unrefrigerated? I can’t imagine the IPAs being too good, but the fruity bit in the pale might well make it pretty palatable. 99p is insane cheap!
No, but that sounds a reasonable experiment!

If it wasn’t immediate family or a very old friend’s I wouldn’t be going to a wedding in Paris. Glasto or not...

Haha. Yep, bet they all have dog “allergies”/“phobias” so can’t possibly go near a dog

Another question sorry ! Do they search you going back into the CV field??
Sounds like you need a packhorse, or maybe a Nepali Sherpa, for all this planned contraband subterfuge.

Could you park up then head into the main site on the Weds to camp on site (and not in the van?)
Yep.

that’s very decent of you. @Funkyfairy!

Right, so for East you just go in through Gate C. What happens at West?
Think it’s got its own gate. Or gate D is the nearest ped gate. Edit: have never stayed in West, but fairly sure it has its own gate and it’s a much smaller cv set up. So might be quiet.

yeah queues are still pretty bad , but you can stay in the van having a cuppa till they die down a litte, plus you don;t have all yur stuff. Its a real strange feeling on wednesday morning being all set up and just your daypack or wandering to the loo's in your pjs as there are hoards of people dragging their camping stuff
A most smug feeling!

Doesn't look that bad although we live up a killer hill and ours looks steeper. Gonna have to stop taking the easy shortcut and get some training in on the killer one.
It doesn’t ‘look’ bad. But 10 pints down in the pissing rain at 3am. ?♂️

@Gnomicideyes... 2017 was quite a heavy queue in East on weds morning. But west is a smaller cv field so... maybe the cv gates aren’t as heavy as other ped gates (idk I haven’t used one in years)

@GnomicideOn weds morning when regular gates open. So we spend tues night on the hill drinking beer/having a bbq looking over the site. It’s epic.
I normally stroll down to get band at about 11 on weds. Then go for a mooch

I’ve had my van searched for glass once. Or at least that’s what they told me they were searching for. They also check vans are proper campers on the way in (proper bed and either cooking or toilet facilities).
They do pull people regularly to search at the gate. Never seen a dog.

It’s probably the most security heavy way of being at the festival tbh. Cos every day you have to go in and out of security, and chance of being searched, while looking after your ticket/pass out vouchers

Thanks: can anyone enter the CV fields or do you need a special wristband? If your friends who weren’t camping with you wanted to come to the van, would they be able to?
It’s a regular gate so you need to have your ticket and wristband on you. Ticket gets you a sign out voucher, which you need to get back in.
-
Yeah. My fave thing about east cv is it’s accessible to my fave spots: Avalon, SE, Green fields. It’s a fairly hefty up hill walk though, which is ok if you’re in a cv field close to the gate but some of the fields a miles away....
-
It’s not the queueing time you need to worry about. The only times that gate is really busy is weds and Thursday (rest of the festival you normally go straight in-ish). It’s the distance that’s the problem and will take you the time.
Unless what you’re really asking is “will they drug search me?”. In which case, maybe yes.

I think that the majority of the people who do not pay their balance will be impacted by changes in personal circumstances, weddings or other events, relationship break ups, financial hardship etc rather than not liking the headliners. Therefore I do not think it will have much of impact on the resale.
Completely agree. Was popping on to say something similar. The poster may affect the number of people trying to get ticket, perhaps. But it’s pretty solid (except the headliners) for me.

Yeah, that’s the plan, but most sensible people know by now that both parties are culpable and incompetent on these - and maybe all - matters.
The sooner May and Corbyn screw each other into oblivion the better. Ctrl, Alt, Delete and reboot with some sensible people.
