I'm hearing Bombay Bicycle Club.
I imagine your hearing is better than most of ours but that would be so odd when they are playing the likes of Truck and Lost Village (but much less odd if they were playing but not headlining)
-
Suede are playing a show in Ireland in late May so they could appear high up the bill somewhere.
-
Vampire Weekend could play the first weekend but I don’t think they are big enough to headline a day?

Apparently Emily also confirmed it's her only UK Festival appearance as well
Where’s the bit about her only UK Festival Appearance?

Interesting leaving that gap on the 3rd wonder what the reasoning is
So people can do Wireless and still see Post Malone as well!

Childish Gambino oh no ffs
I reckon this is the answer. Possibly supported by Beck.

There’s no way The Bloody Kooks are headlining this Festival. They are not even headlining Tramlines!

Never stayed offsite, but there is nothing around the area, how far are you planning on travelling each day?
Not too far in cab. Penrith seems doable?

Hi Has anyone stayed offsite at this Festival before. If so, where’s the best places to stay and how easy is it to get in and out each day. There seems to be a cab pick up/down point at the green gate if anyone could tell me where that is?
TIA for any assistance.

Another Question for people that may know. I’ve seen people say that this has no cross-over with IOW festival but does anyone know if there are any particular festivals it does share acts with
Recently it was part of Global so shared acts with the likes of Tramlines, Truck, Y-Not etc.
Think that’s changed a bit now but still think there is a connection with Truck and Tramlines. -
Three down three to go. Who do we reckon?
Think Lana Del Rey is a cert. She’s about and seems a perfect fit for this festival.
For a heavier day Biffy and Royal Blood are both about - how about a super co-header with those two. Think that would probably sell out.
Arcade Fire been rumoured for ages but no sign of them touring? The National are about but they played here two years ago and BST last year - surely that’s too soon. The Strokes are also around. Could they put them on again after their sound problems last year.
If they want a dad/lad rock day could easily see someone like The Stereophonics doing it. Their stock still seems pretty high and would sell well with the right line up.
Who do we reckon for the last three then?

Still happening for me as of 18:20.
If IPhone. Go to Settings Safari and scroll down to and press “Clear Website and History Data” Switch off phone and switch back on. This will resolve the issue but you may have to re-enter passwords on sites you visit that are stored.

TBH think less likely now unfortunately as Portmeirion appears available to book rooms for that w/e 😢

I would guess that they may be looking at the reaction that the tweet gets as part of assessing a 2021 comeback.
3/6 Sept 2020 appears in quite high demand locally...

First tweet in just under a year. Could this festival be back? I really hope so, it’s the best festival I’ve ever been to.

Just had an email asking me if I want to buy a “Ticket to Ride” for next year’s event. I wonder if that’s a not too subtle clue that Ride will be there?
They are the right sort of band and right sort of size to headline this event?

Still finding it takes ages for the forum pages to load making it almost unusable - sorry.
Working much much better now. Thanks for fixing.

Bit surprised by the reaction here to be honest. Looks like a strong something for everyone line up to me. People need to remember Latitude isn’t some niche boutique offering these days. They have 40k tickets to shift and I think they will with this.

So it’s £85 to be nowhere near the front or £110 to get to the front. Holy shit.

Bit lost on this thread. Could someone recap on who we think are “confirmed” for this ATM? Is it Little Mix, Pearl Jam, Kendrick, Post Malone and Taylor Swift?
Edit: Just looked up Post Malone. Seems he’s sold a few records.

Been to the last two Rockaway Beaches but can’t make this year unfortunately. I think it’s brilliant. There are no band clashes so you can see everyone if you want. Afternoon and early evening are in the smaller Reds venue and the evening and night is in the bigger place.
if you want a break from music there’s always the sports bar or you can have a stroll along the front. There’s a another bar where they do album playbacks which is pretty good too.
Mid Jan is not an ideal time for many cash wise so I guess that’s why it struggles to sell out although it must be cheaper to get the venue at that time of year.
I did go to Shiine On in Minehead a couple of years ago which I also enjoyed but it is much much busier and more of a lads lads lads experience.

Vampire Weekend and Foals among the names doing Beni the same weekend. Could see either or both of them as headliners?

It's Moby.
Wow! Saw Moby at V Festival in 2000!! It was epic.
Certainly be one I’d be interested in going to.

Suppose if it’s £35 a pop it will sell some tickets but that is grim. Gobsmacked that’s the best they can come up with.
