  1. quite surprised to see Redcar headline tbf. I know he’s headlined sizeable festivals in the past but this new album has come and gone without much public spectacle - certainly compared to the first two records. wouldn’t say Redcar is Burna Boy-big atm, for example. I’m a fan, fwiw! I wonder if the Mike Dean-produced album next year is going to cause any chart interference
  2. Fever Ray announced their EU and US tour dates yesterday. quite surprised to see there aren’t any UK shows so far. they only did Troxy last time round (iirc) so probably not big enough to do a full UK tour and it’s not like they’d be booked by something like APE as an exclusive. would love to see them pop up somewhere, that’s all! also a good West Holts kinda booking
  3. looks like Iggy Pop is doing South Facing Festival with Blondie and Generation Sex on July 1st, according to O2 Priority
  4. 23 consecutive monthly gigs (currently) at the O2 for Peter Kay. basically the British Billy Joel. heard he ends each show with a full album performance of The Stranger
  5. for anyone wanting London dates, this twitter thread has all the links shortcuts. tickets are available for all
  6. I've found that signing into your Gigsandtours account will unlock presale for every venue except the O2 so might be worth trying that
  7. more acts added to Wide Awake. some intriguing options like Polachek and OPN in there (i took this from Avery’s twitter, it’s just an artist-specific version of the line up)
  8. oh completely. Wizkid is one of the hottest tickets atm - sold out three O2 shows in ten minutes and I thought he confirmed a London outdoor show for next year but a quick google shows it was a mirage. Even the likes of Asake have sold out 3 nights at Brixton in rapid fire. this should sell with relative ease
  9. Ladies, gentlemen and distinguished guests, your Glasto 23 headliner
  10. yeah the end of a promo video he posted on his socials shows it’s an APE event
  11. Stormzy’s only UK show next year - This Is What We Mean Day @ Victoria Park, 18th August 2023. first All Points East act confirmed
  12. just checked the prices for this and they are around £47 for general admission which kinda makes sense to get through about 40,000 tickets - about £20 shyer than an average London one-dayer and only marginally more expensive than he’d probably charge for an indoors show
  13. turns out he announced this over a month ago! doing a stadium in Paris in may and one in Netherlands on 24th June. most likely not returning to the farm so soon but he’s definitely not peaked yet
  14. Just had an IG advert for this. googled it and it is on Eventim so probably due to be properly announced very shortly. pretty big gig for the guy
  15. had no idea Joji was this big - basically a redo of the Rex Orange County show of this year and i imagine with a similar crossover crowd. feeling v out of touch, would’ve had him pegged as a Brixton Academy type!!
  16. surely a lock for a high profile set on the farm. also Ally Pally describes their show as part of a summer series at the park, guessing an extension to the Primal Scream and Kaleidoscope events of this year
  17. presale now live (password: colvibs) https://birdonthewire.us20.list-manage.com/track/click?u=a4e6fc86de55791ff869fe190&id=a63b4c2fe2&e=0c2222cbfa
  18. if you have O2 Priority, it might be worth checking on there as the whole site was down for about 15 mins and there seems to be good availability. and when I got through on the artist presale, there weren’t any but just persisted and eventually some just came through. definitely worth just keep going!
  19. After a long ten minutes, managed to get 4 standing for Paramore at the O2. something quite sickening about verifying a £300 purchase with your bank. £40 of that are just ticketmaster fees Also secured tickets for Maya Hawke, Channel Tres and Young Fathers - their show at Brixton was A-tier and I'm loving their new stuff
  20. did someone say a third show at the Brighton Centre?! tbh I did the same thing of going through their related acts, and the only ones that stood out are Flume (did two shows at Koko this year but that’s it), Caribou (been pretty much everywhere the last year) and Bonobo. none of those are particularly all-caps massive but if booked in smaller venues then it might be that
  21. One Inch Badge (a promoter for Brighton, partnered with Rockfeedback) has posted on IG that an “absolutely MASSIVE electronic show” is being announced at 10am tomorrow. they’ve worked with plenty of big names so quite intrigued to find out
  22. the Taylor Swift presale sign up link has extended its deadline from 5am this morning (21/10) to 5am on 27/10. Wonder if we'll be getting the dates on the 28th or maybe the Monday after. https://uk-umg.com/vvreg/32107-926167.html?t=1665942395&uk_et_cid=AEGP_SOLUS_TAYLOR_S_PRE_ORDER_181022&uk_et_rid=1_8550566099860460
