  3. It froze with a good pose though
  4. Last time was Tiger Tiger in Manchester Printworks. But I’m going to have to dial in my performance so I don’t contaminate anyone. Enjoy New Order!
  5. Probably… My voice is deep and croaky. I’ll be belting out Up Where We Belong at karaoke later
  6. I’ll join but I’ve got post festival lurgy so might just quietly listen 👀
  7. I’m in this predicament. line up depending it might be a post 17:00 arrival on Thursday and 21:00 departure on Sunday so it only uses a day of leave. That way I can still do Green Man, Glastonbury and one other.
  8. Did that ever happen anywhere? 😂
  9. Feels like the site could handle more punters. This year it felt like there was a lot more camping space in the fields. I don’t mind if it’s sponsored or not. “Vibe” is important but isn’t that influenced more by the punters, site and acts?
  10. The Oxfam reference process is very simple, a few tick boxes about the persons trustworthiness and then name, email and profession. No free text reference required and no phone calls.
  11. Nick Cave touring will be of interest to @WestCountryGirl
  12. Oh wow, didn’t realise that. That’s interesting
  13. They know they have more competition next year so not surprised they are getting sales done early. Wonder if they will do it in tiers with price increases like EOTR. I’m not buying until next month anyway
  14. Teleman we’re poor (and I frikkin love Teleman) because of their technical issues. Faffing around between songs killed the flow and, on top of that, I don’t think going down to three and losing their keyboard guy is working. It cost them a song during the set too. Dropping Repeater from the set list was also an odd choice imo as it’s well suited to bigger crowds to get them jumping. I doubt many came away wanting to see them on tour which is a shame as they are usually good fun.
  15. I think they are off the mark. Damon Albarn was one of the stand out performances for me and Jonny Greenwood’s “enraptured” crowd was looking very thin during the last 20 mins of his set. I enjoyed it though.
  16. Is next weekend this weekend or the weekend after this? I’m around if you mean the 10th
  17. The efests meetup (that lasted the entire festival) was another highlight
  18. My first EOTR and what a show! I’ll make every effort to go back. Lovely vibe in the campsite, beautiful arena and a really strong line up that left me spoilt for choice every hour.
  19. Nah, I’d rather hear what they have to say. Got to retain that right to speak freely and offend occasionally as long as it’s within the limits of the law. That’s what the place is all about, let everyone be who they want to be.
  20. I’ll be on in the next hour
