  1. Have Yo La Tengo ever done a 100% covers set before? If so, what sort of stuff did they play?
  2. It’s quite funny that after all the moaning about The National, they are giving us even more The National.
  3. Why do people think it’s the National? Admittedly looking on a small phone but can’t see enough of the name crossed out to reach that conclusion.
  4. More choice than in the older years but not as good quality as the recent years.
  5. I dunno. Moon Safari is a good album certainly but there was a time where you couldnt walk into a cafe without hearing it and got played to death!
  6. Oh man, I agree so much. They have some good tracks since but there was a sweet spot after those two albums where their gigs were so, so good.
  7. Upfront times are unbelievably rare - don't think I've ever come across that. And Primavera could tell us who is playing each stage and the Clashfinder would still get almost all the clashes wrong!
  8. Personally I think Primavera are far, far from the worst offenders at revealing the timetable in a timely way. In fact I'd say they are pretty good here and also they have a far more complex scheduling than most.
  9. One of my highlights was when they did the secret gigs you had to get a token for. Forgot which year. Saw Pond with about 20 other people and it was a free bar all night!
  10. Atarashii Gakko could be similar. Think is their first ever gig in Europe.
  11. This is the best one-dayer I've seen so far.
  12. Sunny Day Real Estate? Or Real Estate even?
  13. When are we expecting some more names?
  14. I agree but you don't have 3 hour queues without some interest in the Ciutat concept. Julia Holter was alright last year - she's is a bit of a subdued performer these days for my tastes.
  15. You can say people don't care about it but in 2022 it was ABSOLUTELY RAMMED.
  16. There's no way all the time delay is just because of one band (let alone that one band being Slowdive).
  17. Yeah, to torture us. That or a problem with one of the venues they were planning on using. Sounds like Razzmatazz is out this year and I doubt they can use Poble Espanol.
  18. Believe the longest we had to wait in the past for Ciutat to trickle out was 1 hour or 2. This weekend we are at the 2 month mark.
  19. Wouldn’t surprise me if I prefer the Ciutat lineup to Coachella’s one…
  20. I am struggling with how bad the large US festivals are this year. Stinking the place out...
  21. Coachella had been waiting on No Doubt. Hilarious!
  22. Prob not relevant but the Slowdive February gig has just sold out.
  23. Admittedly a good while ago now but still seems amazing to me that I once paid €100 for a VIP ticket. If I want to buy one today, they're currently €550. And the old one came with unlimited beer included!
