Agree on other point but he is on the third line really and is far too small to be on the first line. Not sure if moving him to the second line is really necessary.

I think they have an almost exactly equal number of good and (for my taste) bad names which is a bit frustrating as could have made an incredible festival by switching some of the names over.

A tonne of festivals are announcing in the next week. You have to feel Cala Mijas will need to be amongst them or people will spend their summer festival cash on other options...

Massive Attack were a bigger, more expensive name. And Twigs is hardly going to go to the trouble of rehearsing, having a crew etc for one show. She’s not a DJ that just spins a few discs.

EU Exclusive is another way of saying "will tour other regions of the world". And we know she was booked for Mexico.

Plenty of acts have cancelled Coachella. If an act is sick, mentally unwell, pregnant, injured, not rehearsed, unable to put together the right staging (I could go on...), no amount of 'special arrangement' is going to make them play.

Yeah, I'd be amazed if Twigs shows up. One off gigs don't make sense. Grimes is a good shout as a replacement. Or maybe St Vincent again.

We all have our preferences but if you don't like even 1 name from that diverse list of 8, perhaps indie music isn't for you? Primavera has historically been a festival geared towards more alternative names than, say, Mad Cool and Benicassim.

Ha, has also just occurred to me that they can't possibly force Idles into that all-female Saturday statement of intent. And the Friday is already sold out. And the Thursday is already absolutely rammed.
