The Horrors - I've been a fan watching them mature and not been frightened to change direction, their new song "Machines" is great, has a Depeche Mode feel to it and has got me very excited to see them on Friday,
Couldn't agree more, although I can't help but feel that they would suit the tent more so than the main stage?

Will do - thanks, suttttttt
My first Latitude for a few years, and fourth overall. Looking forward to getting back to Henham.
Ben
My third consecutive year! Hope you have a blast man, fingers crossed for some sunshine!

I think that there might be a few surprise sets this year as some parts of the line up seem pretty sparse still. I think Ben Howard is nailed on as he is there with A Blaze of Feather. Keep an eye out for those unusually large gaps in the schedule when they finally release it!

Fair do's, but then that leaves BBC an 'act short' in terms of filling the day, on the Saturday...
Ben
Maybe someone is having a longer set at some point in the day, but who knows?!
Prepare for them to drip feed the set times on the Monday before the festival. As I recall last year it was Obelisk Monday, BBC 6 Music Tuesday and so on... so yeah guess we wont know for sure until next week some time!

Gah! That must mean that Jack Garratt is headlining BBC at 'normal' time on the Saturday...
Hmmm...additional planning required!
Ben
I don't think this is the case. I think SOHN will play at the same time as Mumford and Sons with Jack Garratt starting after they have finished as he is mentioned here http://www.latitudefestival.com/news/latitude-night-owls.

sounds awesome!
Where did you order your LP from bud?

Did anyone catch the boys at the Crows Nest? Just watched the John Peel set on iPlayer, huge crowd but seemed a little docile from the video. I imagine the crows nest got pretty wild.

Anyone gonna be at the show at the Kingston O2 in London on 15th June? Going on my own, would be cool to meet some fellow Gizz fans and hang before the show or whatever. Bringing some smoke and good vibes
Could be worth checking out the KGATLW subreddit man- I'm going to the Manchester gig

I ordered the berry version and received the clear vinyl.
Accelerated Berry variant is the clear one with splatter so you received the right one. The purple/reddy colored one is Grape splatter I believe.

Are day tickets strictly for residents or do they get offered out to the general public at a later date?
-
Gizz into Thee Oh Sees is a match made in heaven. Does anyone know when/if this usually sells out?

Its sold out now mind, think that's the most limited pressing of MOTU so far.

wish they had've made the UK pressing a splatter or tricolour, a glow in the dark splatter would be insane! its a shame we're missing out on the booklets too
Yeah and the Heavenly releases are usually a bit sub-par compared to Flightless and ATO. I tend to just bite the bullet and fork out for the Flightless releases because theirs tend to be the best, although the ATO release this time around looks cool and is limited to 1000.
-
It seems like Heavenly never have any extras like booklets, posters etc.
Not sure if anyone on here ordered from Flightless but the zoetrope animated labels on those are going to look insane. Check out the prototype video on Flightless Instagram!

I wasn't sure how the microtonal stuff would sound live but after watching the Pitchfork live stream I think its safe to say it sounds fucking awesome with Billabong Valley being one of the highlights. Roll on June!

Duno, there should be someone after them if so. Doesn't seem bad news to me, Parquet Courts are awesome, RBCF will be a must-catch before they blow up and Ultimate Painting are cool as well. Opens five hours earlier than last time as well. so more to come it seems.
Don't get me wrong I like Parquet Courts just not sure how it will compare overall to last years aural assault! That's awesome news though, I wasn't aware of that.

Not Gizzard related but for those that went last time, Strange Waves II has been announced.
A little disappointed with this, has it been made clear that Parquet Courts are headlining it this year? I guess its going to be hard for them to top last years bill, it was a blast!

I'm in the same camp as you, in that I've got everything post-Fuzz, but nothing before. Will have to keep my eye out.
You got any cool versions of the records? There are plenty out there. I've got a lovely yellow (obvs) copy of the new one.
rarest gizz record I've got is Mind Fuzz on pink vinyl with bone swirl, think there were 500 pressed? The best looking they have done has got to be the emu egg nonagon in my opinion though, would love a copy!

Much better than the shambles that the wytches followed with.
I agree The Wytches left me feeling a cold when they played, gizz were always gonna be a tough act to follow. I've seen them twice since now and they sounded awesome, I think they got lost in that big room. Don't let that performance taint your opinion of them though man, they're so tight live now.
Looking forward to the mighty Gizz at the Albert Hall, roll on June!

Does anybody know roughly when the day splits are confirmed for Green Man?

Just a heads up, set times are going live on the website now. I believe Obelisk, BBC music, Lake, Sunrise and Alcove are all up. Just click on the artist.
