I could see White lies playing 3rd down on the main stage? And what about blossoms headlining radio 6? a lot of buzz around them but are they big enough?
I'd like to see White Lies there! Unsure about whether Blossoms would headline radio 6 off the back of one album? Sub maybe like Catfish in 2015.

What do people think about Thee oh Sees playing?
Think it would be absolutely awesome if they played, I've got such high hopes for them cropping up! Where abouts would they play though? Sub on 6 Music stage?

I was just thinking that this morning. New material coming out soon. Personally I would be very happy with them there.
It would make the weekend for me but like @FloorFiller they are a bit raucous. I'll throw them in there as my wildcard prediction though. Imagine a Mark Lanegan Song For The Dead encore!!!

What is the likelihood of QOTSA headlining? They have just been announced for a festival in Japan a couple of weeks after Latitude so they're obviously touring in the summer. Too heavy for a Latitude crowd?
-
Hoping Latitude manage to get a few acts that were announced for EOTR this morning... awesome undercard

Maybe Alt-J as they've been confirmed to perform at Boardmasters, so they're potentially going around the festivals this year? I know they headlined a few years ago but PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE
I'd say there's no chance of them playing, Latitude has only had one repeat headliner since its inception and Alt-J only played two years ago... sorry to disappoint haha

I reckon we could see a few of these cropping up being as this takes place the weekend after Latitude..
-
I have my fingers crossed for King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard cropping up somewhere on the line up, probably the 6 Music Stage.
Dreading the thought that The 1975 could headline.
I also saw that Elbow are playing a festival in Italy on the 15th of July next year which could put them in the running.

Does anybody know if there is going to be any TV coverage of the festival this year? I know last year Sky Arts had a programme dedicated to the festival but I can't seem to find anything for this year...
-
Did anybody catch Flamingods in the sunrise arena on the Friday? I found them utterly mesmerizing and definitely a highlight for me. What an amazing weekend, its great to hear the (mostly) positive comments. I'm glad you guys had as much of a good time as I did!

Does anybody know if there are showers in the camp site?
-
Just a quick question for those of you that have been to Latitude for the weekend... The website says the campsite opens at 2PM on the Thursday, is this the case or is it usually open earlier?

Why do we think Kurt Vile isn't headlining 6 Music stage? Was hoping Jamie XX would take the slot but on facebox Latitude seem to confirm Kurt Vile is Sat night headliner....
Latitude Festival Indeed! xI can't imagine he is going to be, if you look at this that latitude have out on their Facebook it shows the other to BBC Radio 6 headliners but not Kurt Vile so I would assume that he isn't the headliner
-
Is there anything to keep us busy on the Thursday night usually? I did the Saturday last year but haven't camped for the full weekend yet, which of course I will be this year
-
Just a quick question with regards to the spotify playlist; would anybody be able to tell me how to find it? I have typed it in to the search bar but can only find the 2015 playlist...
-
So with the news that Kurt Vile and the violators won't be headlining the BBC 6 stage- who do we think could be in the running?
-
Radiohead
Tame Impala
New Order
+ a secret set from TLSP
... I suppose I can dream- so excited for this announcement!

I don't remember them having bigger production on their solo shows.
On their solo shows in 2013 they had a huge screen up projecting animations and artwork from Like clockwork throughout, although I did prefer the minimalism at Reading- the lasers were a great touch.
-
How many acts are usually announced? Will it be all three headliners in the first announcement (going by previous years)?
-
How much of the line up is usually announced in March? Is it pretty much the whole thing including day and stage splits?

They were 7th down in 2012 and hadn't really grown much. Also 5th down the second stage at Download last summer.
valid point but they hadn't released their new album last summer. Surely its enough to push them up the main stage at least a few places?

I can't tell if EODM are going to get a ridiculously high slot this year (eg, 4th main) out of respect or just a normal slot for them (6th/7th main). In the announcement they're placed in between Twenty one pilots and Boy better know who I can imagine both playing around 4th main/2nd NME but does that mean EODM are going to get a similar slot to them?
I don't see why EODM getting 4th down would be 'out of respect'? As live performances go they're one of the best out there and in my eyes are more than capable of playing 4th on the main stage.

Tame Impala being added to Open'er Festival in Poland at the end of July surely puts them strongly in running for a headline spot now?
Blue Dot Festival
in other UK festivals
