My mate is camping with us in WV but he has a hospitality ticket - no registration number etc (he works in the industry). I am coming by coach so I can’t buy him a WV car parking ticket with my registration. Can he just rock up on the day and buy at the gate?

Hi all, I'm an idiot and totally forgot to cancel my WV Bell Tent booking. I've contacted See on the off-chance they will let me cancel anyway but posting here in case someone wants it off me. I'm arriving by coach on Wednesday and have a different tent booked also at Worthy View, so I'm sure we could sort something. Thanks!

I'm coaching from Brighton. Last time I did this we managed to get an earlyish coach I seem to remember - 9:30am perhaps? Hoping for the same again! Although have booked WV for this year so it's no big deal if we end up on a slightly later coach.

Some of my tips: - If you like a drink, white russian is an ideal breakfast option and amazing hangover cure. There are milk trucks driving about selling 1 pint milk cartons usually for a quid, so just take a premix of vodka and kahlua and buy fresh milk in the morning. - A collapsible bucket, flannel and soap in lieu of a shower will make you a hell of a lot cleaner and fresh smelling than baby wipes will. You can even wash your hair in one at a push - good for a Friday morning pick me up. - Do not use Glastonbury to break in a new pair of wellies or boots. You WILL lose a toenail and be covered in blisters by the end of the festival. - You can get a massage in the green fields if you destroy your back on the way in. - Use the lock ups for your cash - they're free. - Avoid the railway line immediately after the headliners if you're not keen on big crowds - can get a bit uncomfortable at times.

Yeah I think with the lack of any separate porch area, this suggestion is a very good shout. Will bring a groundsheet too I think to try and keep it tidyish.

Anyone ever stayed in one of the Glastonbury Bell Tents? Booked one at WV for this year, but now having 2nd thoughts about the lack of porch space. Assume if it's a muddy one the inside gets completely trashed?

Have finally come out of efests hibernation to get into the pre-glasto spirit. Hope everyone's been keeping well! Also purchased a horribly expensive, but massively discounted north face pack-away jacket yesterday after a couple of ciders in the sun. Hoping it will be small enough to carry about in my day bag and come in handy when it suddenly goes sub zero at night once the sun goes down.

I accidentally bought a car park ticket for WV that I don't need, as we're arriving by coach. Messaged SeeTickets to see if they'll have mercy and refund me, but if not, I'll post it up on here.
