I’d hazard a guess the Pyramid is more popular with the general festival-goer

Or with the Glastonbury virgin - so many times my mates have brought their girlfriend for the first time and complained that they just want to see all the bands on the Pyramid!

Here on eFests we are just so post-Pyramid... ?

Can anyone confirm whether this means Janelle willl clash with miley and Kylie? Or will Janelle likely be later in the evening?

Can't see that being an issue - Kylie will be around 4PM and Janelle come on around 10

  3. I'd say it's very variable - for me it's been like Sasperella and only half an hour to an hour to get on-site, but 2017 I think it was, there was a problem with the coaches and we were waiting in a dreadful queue at Castle Cary for a couple of hours before getting a sniff of a coach

I'd say give it an hour max from the station to the site, unless something bad has happened!

  4. Best - well it's really hard to choose between West Holts, which is my favourite in the mornings with a pint of Toffee Apple cider for breakfast and a fantastic World Music or Afrobeat band on, and Avalon, which is just amazing all the time but not really a breakfast destination

Worst - yeah Silver Hayes doesn't float my boat, but the worst sound I've heard is up at the Acoustic

I don't even know where this is? Will recommend it to my friends (and maybe check it out on one of the nights)

Small World Solar Stage is normally up in the Green Futures field just about opposite the Mandala stage fairly near the Permaculture

On this year's map so far the Green Futures area looks like the other years so here's hoping it's there again and easy to find!

This may just be me, but whenever I try to search these playlists on the app I can never find them! Anyone know why?

You can't see the whole name on this snippet, try searching for the full name "Glade Area Glastonbury 2019"

Or maybe this link wil work? You can paste it into the spotify search box: spotify:user:1165447717:playlist:3obUtv1eGgHGmU9ngrow6U

  7. Nothing wrong with WH PA in my experience in 2017 - and for James Blake it was sublime, and his music tests the range of any setup

    (James Blake was 2016)

... There also appears to be little to no benefit at being tech-savvy these days. During the initial sale, my mother-in-law got through twice straight away on her phone. This time we used VPN’s all over the world, multiple wifi and 4G connections, and were trying various tricks, but nothing worked.

Heh, seems to be true - so my vision of the Fest being entirely populated by computer geeks by 2025 looks like it won't come true after all!

  9. Is there any chance that some of the returned tickets went "somewhere else" and didn't go on sale today? Extra hospitality allocation? More builders working on all the extra stuff on-site getting given them? Decided to keep the overall numbers a bit lower this year?? I'm clutching at straws to understand such a low number in the resale today

I didn't get that from an official source, tho I did get it from someone who was very likely* to have got it from someone who's name has an 'E' in it.

(* unless they were telling porkies)

And with all the tickets allocated within 6 minutes this morning (then failed transactions carrying on for much longer), it's pretty credible that that figure was accurate

Thing is, why was the figure so low this year? Is it really so much more popular this year because of the fallow one?

What's the deal with this? Some people started getting the sold out page around the ten minute mark, but both my phone and my laptop were letting me refresh the holding page until gone 9.17am, at which point I went out and back in again and then got the sold out sign. Was I not really refreshing?

Yeah it was weird wasn't it? If you refresh the holding page you just get the holding page again, but if you went to http://glastonbury.seetickets.com you got the sold-out.

Maybe you're in with a better chance if you keep refreshing to http://glastonbury.seetickets.com rather than the holding page (which was something like http://glastonbury.seetickets.com/event/glastonbury-2019/worthy-farm/1300001/)

    Worth trying *next time*.....

Hi guys! Good luck to everyone tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone knows if we need to input the cardholder name? Or just numbers...

When you get to the payment screen the payment details will be pre-filled with the name and address of the first registration number you put in on the first page, so if that's the person whose card you're going to use for payment, just fill in the long number, expiry and CVC digits

If you're buying using a different credit / debit card, you have to replace that name and address with the correct ones for the card you're using (and put in the long number etc. as well obvs)
