Yeah we are not in a bad place at all. Currently looking like a largely dry festival.

Far too much rain about for my liking in these recent runs. Don’t want to be dodging heavy downpours all weekend. The good news is a complete washout is unlikely at this point.
Should have a much better idea of how this is going to play out by the end of the weekend.

Runs keep improving. I’d be happy to knock the temperatures up a few degrees but the latest is a stick.

We are only a week away now so trends start to become important. Yes, it can still change...but it might not. We are entering the semi-reliable timeframe.

Low pressure seems to be winning the battle in this run.

Buses from Ryde to Newport will be running every 10 minutes or so until about midnight. About every half hour after that. You won't have any problems. You can either go direct from the site or take the 15 minute walk into Newport centre.
Bus journey should be about 25/30 minutes.

It's been glorious down south for near on 3 weeks now. The next 7 day forecast is for more of the same.
