  1. Saw James Yorkston and Nina Persson at the Louisiana in Bristol last night. They were outstanding in such an intimate venue. They had a great dynamic between them. They are doing the festival circuit this year and I would recommend them if you get the chance to see them.
  2. Saw James Yorkston, Nina Persson and the Second Hand Orchestra on Monday in theJazz Cafe. It was a wonderful intimate show. Lots of oldies with beards there...
  3. one for the next few days..
  4. Caroline were great at Glastonbury last year, though there were only about 50 people watching them. A cave sounds interesting.
  5. On a personal note, there is nothing on the list I am really excited about (no real YES! moment at first glance, though Ezra Furman is always a highlight, and looking forward to seeing Caroline again) , but as people have pointed out it all about people's listening preferences, so will delve into the bands to see what catches my interest. There will be more additions, and also it will be a chance to see some new acts. I always end up missing acts when I am there, as something else catches your eye, or you are just chilling, so still looking forward to the festival and catching up with friends.
  6. Agreed, over all the years, there is always a huge amount on the lineup to love, and always some gems you have not discovered yet. Anyway, it is hosted in such a beautiful place, so it is always a great weekend.
  7. Hope to see Warrington Runcorn New Town Development Plan again. The afternoon slot last year in the Tipi was great and the last album was excellent.
  8. I am hoping James Yorkston and the second hand orchestra will play this year. Last year's solo set we excellent, and I know he really enjoyed it.
  9. No number, but see if you can guess the link.... (from the Glade in 2022)
