They often sold out within hours in previous years. Happy to have been once, but at those prices plus the risk of it clashing with something of interest it’s not worth it in my view.

only an inflation rise on last year ... I like my carbs though and left feeling a little empty although it tasted superb and well worth doing for a special occasion

Great dedication to the cause. Made me think and I have now typed a few groups into my phone as short codes in case I get through on that!  Seconds saved could be the difference 🤞

just get bad shakes ... im now just checking all the groups are correct with postcodes and regs working in the checker and testing the shortcodes

  3. So a few years back in the pyramid field I was approached by a couple of people had taken their friends to the festival in Lego form as they were unable to make it that year . They took a photo of their friends on the pyramid stage (hat ) and seemed delighted about it . I thought it lovely at the time and is a memory for me and hopefully them too . Hopefully in some way a keepsake but maybe not in a physical form

Could this be related to the Arrivals stage in Shangri La?

saw that elsewhere , the information was that  it was for Williams green area so dont think so unless things have changed , completely different area organisers / creative teams

Secured the ticket today 🙏🏼 Can now ask any info on replacement for the Rabbit Hole? Same people organising a new area there? Also any Arcadia updates?

Yep it’s same people and it’s called the wishing well I’ve been told . There’s conflicting info about Arcadia but seems most likely in my opinion to involve the sea king helicopter they’ve purchased some time ago

The singular space has now been taken.

Nice work today . Don’t think people always appreciate amount of stress involved

It was quicker than that I think. I was through to booking page within a few minutes and had checked every departure town in england for wednesday by 6.12 and got 'no shows available' when I tried the thursday page

Sometimes odd ones drop in so may not have officially sold out

There are ticket competitions being run by:

    Co-op (pre existing)

    Vodafone (pre existing)

    Guardian (pre existing)

    Brothers (pre existing)

Tony's Chocolenly / oxfam (pre existing but relatively new)

    chillys (new)

    barbour (new)

    Hunter wellies (new)

    White Claw Hard Seltzer (new)

It also seems these tie ups are resulting in far more tickets being available in competitions, as Vodafone have pver 100 pairs and the Chillys comps are giving out six at a time.

The main issue is probably also that the new ones are with companies which seem marketed at a certain demograaaaphic.

However some might have disappeared …  thinking no GWR so far … although that Vodaphone one is ridiculous

Indeed - the benefit of the tony's one is that there is no need to identify a name until you have the piece of cardboard/paper saying you've won. And I'm certain any of us here would happily be known as a crazy fool, in the circumstances!

dont need to even be known as that if the ticket were sent on securely and the qr code not activated
