  1. I have somehow managed to get tickets every year since the superfence cant remember exact numbers , but think its about 13 years on the trot now (fallow years apart)  some would call me lucky (others other names ), I would agree but with an absolute determination that I am going to get tickets one way or another . I am always fully prepared and will enter competitions to maximise my chances , I have won tickets in the past (western daily press ) and the chance to purchase them (also western daily press ).  I have also got tickets in the resales and secret resales . my message to all , persistence will pay (with a sprinkling of luck ) and cinderellas will go to Worthy Farm in June . Good luck with all those other options fellow efesters

  2. No - from what I can tell it doesn't even authorize the card in "real time" - presumably far too many transactions going through to make it viable. So the card isn't often charged until later in the day (or even the week) - does mean if there's a problem with your card you don't find out right away though.

thanks just put my mind at rest , although I dont remember it from previous years but im prety much in focused but hands shaking mode untill its actually done .

  3. we cycle in from the car parks but only because its easier to bring kit in with a bike trailer than lugging it in any other way , we dont use the cyclists camping or attempt to get the advance tickets , just storing our bikes in lockups its so easy

  4. went for 7pm show last night and was an absolute load of rubbish , enjoyed every minute though !! 25 minute que ish for the ticket holders and the ticket queing system took me back to Glastonbury days , dont  just wear shorts and a tshirt though !!!  luckily I work in the cold so  was just about bearable , couldnt seem to get a programme though as they were unavailable which was a shame .

  5. not using an antiseptic wipe on a tiny scratch I got on my leg from my bike pedal on the way in !! first day or 2 I was fine but by the sat night I was unable to stand for long on that leg , and spent the whole of the stones set looking at the back of peoples legs , off  to the medical tent after and from there to hospital and a 3 day stay on an antibiotic drip , my lucky friends had to pack up my deliberatly messy tent and drive my car home !!

  6. I was considering taking a year off to concentrate my finances on achieving some long term goals, but my little sister (who I went to my first glastonbury with) is talking about going back for her 40th next year, so if that's the case it would be unmissable.

    me to , which day ? :)
