As I and others have said before this thread is about Paul Currie not getting a slot at Glastonbury. There is no evidence to suggest it is because of any political views he has so I guess this thread has run its course.
If anyone wants to start a thread about politics I am sure there is a place for that somewhere else.
international politics thread exists here

Is that how it works then? Anyone can come on, post unfounded rumours as facts, then when it's challenged they can just request the thread is closed? That seems like a great precedent..
we are discussing amongst the mod team at the moment

Last year was my first year arriving on a Thursday. We booked through the coach sale, so out of our control really. We arrived at around 5pm Thursday evening, and as we started to walk through the fields the stewards told us everywhere was full.
We ended up camping next to gate A. By the evening they had made the camping area bigger, with some people camping right next to the toilets.
Were the other fields full, or were the stewards just being told to say that?
There were plenty of campers coming in all evening, they must have been setting up somewhere. There seemed a lot more space allocated to staff/hospitality, especially near gate A.
Worth having a look at some of the high res images posted on other threads you can figure out space from those

bit grim this week after what in my opinion was a good week last .... although may have been different in Pilton we got a dry week here ( taunton ) still way to far out for it to be a problem though but may delay the covers going on the pyramid , dont think that happens in the rain

I don't think anyone is getting angry or upset here, just people having a calm discussion on things.
I'd agree that there's potential for it go bad, in the same way I get nervous in real life where anyone I don't know too well brings up the whole Israel/Gaza situation, but it's not happened yet.
agree its calm but has the potential not to be and has the potential to be challenging for mods . the closing suggestion has come from OP so is one to be considered

Brothers cider now available in Asda .... just seen this after buying a load in Morisons yesterday , could have got my discount and they are cheaper at 1.50 a can .

I think this debate has got a bit out of hand now and should probably be reigned in a bit
Perhaps the thread should be brought to a close, will leave that to the mods.
more than happy to do that . Dont want to shut down speech though so unless anyone objects in next couple of hours ill do that

Not sure yet, got the chance of ziggu and that would mean no tent setting up etc.

That’s right, hospitality tickets have to be sold at face value, 2 k won’t be far off the mark. Thing is to those who havnt a corporate contact and don’t camp in the hospitality camping near Woodsies these tickets are usually combined with luxury glamping elsewhere which really ups the price.
Are you in the woodsies camping ? Might bump into you sometime as I’m in that neck of the woodsies

Congrats to those who got lucky. We had one person who got through in time and then it crashed, and myself and a 3rd person got through at 9:12 and 9:14 but all tickets allocated, and despite continuing to try we didn’t get lucky. I’ve heard that sometimes there are additional sales that aren’t advertised publicly??
Not any longer sadly probably 10years at least since that last happened
