Featuring some of the best-loved acts in the folk scene, on an ideal site Folk by the Oak is a one day folk festival.

Now in its 13th year, set in the beautiful grounds of Hatfield House in Herts happening on Sunday 19th July 2020. 
Gates Open 12 noon. Main Stage from 1pm. Finish 10.30pm.

Announced acts include Seasick Steve, Richard Thompson, Kate Rusby, Skinny Lister, Ye Vagabonds, Katherine Priddy, and more.

Other entertainment

In addition to the musical programme of contemporary folk and acoustic artists the family friendly event offers a craft fair, workshops, children's activities, storytelling, circus skills, real ale bar, music stalls, recycled gifts and a selection of tasty produce and a real ale bar on site.

Tickets

Tickets are on sale, currently priced at £42 for adults and £18 for children.

Take a picnic

Festival goers are invited to bring a picnic, but for safety reasons no fires or barbecues are allowed. Refreshments and bar will be available. Seating and cover is not provided so chairs, tables, picnic blankets and umbrellas are all allowed. No dogs, other than guide dogs, can be admitted. This is a non-camping event.

Getting there

Hatfield train/tube station is just five minutes walk away, and there's ample free parking.
