  1. Mad Cool 2018

There are going to be a lot of excited people finishing work and seeing these 6 extra pages and getting very excited only to be met with...well, I'm not quite sure what on earth it's turned into.
  2. Tour Announcements & Upcoming Gigs

Is anyone familiar with next-concert? It's a service offering tickets to expected upcoming gigs with refunds if the gig doesn't happen and part refunds of the difference if their ticket price is higher than the reality once the gig goes on sale. They claim to guarantee tickets (I expect for a not insignificant commission fee). Is it legit? Is it reliable? Thanks
  3. Mad Cool 2018

Surely he's been nothing but useful for info? Teasing at times, sure. But he can't reveal too much. Would you rather have nothing?
  4. Mad Cool 2018

Just purchased 5 tickets with this. Thank you very much you absolute hero. Merry Christmas!
  5. Benicassim (FIB) 2018

He played this year before the Chilis so it's unlikely, but then again Biffy Clyro played 2 years in a row. More interestingly, Liam and Noel are on the same bill, I guess that puts to bed the argument for them refusing to play the same festivals as each other.
  6. Mad Cool 2018

Has he been probed on Arctic Monkeys/Jack White at all mate? Also, does anyone know the likelihood of Wolf Alice and/or London Grammar please?
  7. Mad Cool 2018

Good research on the top artists! I think we know it's just the one 'e' in each though so that rules out The Chemical Brothers and The Strokes (although 2 of their members are up to other stuff anyway) and the Stones. Lenny Kravitz is playing in France that night too. Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead are my 2 favourite bands so that would a dream come true. I reckon it's gonna be AM plus Jack White/Muse, the others feel unlikely for many reasons. I don't think the co-headliners necessarily need to be of a similar stature for the reasons @Gucci Piggy highlighted earlier. What a line up we already have though!

Neil, you tease. That would make the line-up absolutely sensational. Take my money, Mad Cool.
  10. Benicassim (FIB) 2018

Just to add to this, I'm not sure if you've been following the Mad Cool thread but we know that they'll have 2 Friday headliners and both contain a single letter 'e' in the name, ruling out Arcade Fire and making Arctic Monkeys quite likely. I do question though whether AM would co-headline rather than alone. Either way, I agree that Arcade Fire are now very likely for FIB but not sure why FIB would want to hold back their announcement (unlike say AM where they'd have to wait for tour/album announcement). As for Bjork - do you think she could headline alone? I think the Beni crowd might find that a bit underwhelming (same might even go for Lana). Also, what rules Noel G out - is he playing BBK?
  11. Arcadia - London

I got through the second it hit 12pm and tier one was already sold out (luckily got tier two). Very skeptical about the fairness of this tiering structure! Anyone else experience the same?
  12. Benicassim (FIB) 2018

Do you mean in terms of hyping it up enough? I do think they need a bigger 'lead' name. They're still a pretty big draw but I think they need a legendary and rare act (like they did with RHCP, like Mad Cool have with Pearl Jam) or a peaking in-demand giant e.g. Arctic Monkeys (maybe to come next) to compete with the line-ups their competitors are pulling out
  13. Mad Cool 2018

Pretty good game he's playing with us, isn't it? Can you link me to where this info is coming from please? Cheers

http://po.st/survey2018 Not sure if many of you have seen this but it's time to get our votes in. Prizes on offer too
  15. Radiohead Headlining 2017

100%. I think it was "see you later, Theresa. Shut the door on your way out."
