    Ticket queing

Glastonbury, like all good socialist organisations, rewards hard work, charges you a fortune to get in, and builds a big wall around itself to keep out undesirables.
  2. Only the decoy Rabbit Hole was on the map though. That said I found the place (the real Rabbit Hole) a bit "oh is that it?" when I went. As with the piano bar, people build stuff up far bigger than it actually is.
  3. Just something they did this year I think (perhaps other years?)
  4. You'd be suprised - you'll see thousands of people in there, zero of whom you'll recognise, and think "how are you VIPs?"

    Camper Van Ticket

They didn't advertise it on email last year either.
  6. I'd edit my original post to say what we now know to be the answer but... has the Edit Reply button been removed? I can't seem to edit anything more than a few minutes old.
  7. Well that would seem to be a more conclusive answer to the "can you buy multiple campervan tickets on one reg" question - assuming there's no option to just keep the sales open?
  8. I don't think you could easily set up a page monitor as you have to have 'logged in' via a registration to see the choices available. It can be done of course, but not with the usual basic tools.
  9. I've checked my email and there's nothing about "Worthy View" or "Accomodation" last year that I can see.
  10. I don't believe they did. It went up on the news page on 27th November and they quietly updated one of the pages that references it a day or two before that, but that was it.
  11. Are we ready to have the conversation about how flags similarly affect many more people, I wonder 😉
  12. At least as far as the local sale went - if you accessed the site with that modification still in place - it sent you to the blue holding page when it wasn't necessary to do so. (Or perhaps diverted you to a server that was itself getting buggered for other reasons). Removing the mod gave pretty much 90% availability on the site to do whatever you wanted.
  13. Thanks both for confirming. How weird that they can so effectively block duplicate orders on the normal ticket sale but not on campers... is there a reason for that I wonder
  14. I'm with you. But if you had two registrations - is there still only one slot to fill in or 2/some other number? In other words how many distinctly different reg's could get a CV ticket in one sale?
  15. So there's multiple (1-3?) campers available per reg - and how many are you able to buy per sale? Is it still limited to 2 as per the "2 accommodations" limit? In other words, how many 'slots' are on the form when you get in, for campervans?
  16. How many identical campervan tickets are you able to buy per registration? I would assume one, others are saying multiples
  17. Actually it had - anyone accessing the local sale at the weekend using such methods was shown an unshiftable blue holding page. If they removed the settings change on their PC, the site loaded straight up as normal. That's actually quite smart as it makes people think they haven't buggered up their chances when they now have for potential future sales - unless they change the setting back, of course.
  18. I don't blame them for wanting to make a profit and build a war chest - they had to take 2 years off unplanned, remember.
  19. In that case why don't they give people the opportunity to pay for full tickets in November - is it a tax wheeze?
  20. That's surprising, I had assumed the late ticket sales (and the follow up local sale) would mean they'd kick that out longer than what is effectively last years date for those things to go on sale.
  21. A similar video could be made for those who stand in front of stages with flags - blocking the eyeline of thousands of people.

    Hospitality Help

Interesting. I've seen a few sites that don't sell the tickets on their own but do sell them with accommodation packages with a £2k uplift to the price of those same accomodations without tickets. But why do Glasto give/sell these to glamping companies - what's in it for Glasto? Just the sale of the ticket itself?

    Hospitality Help

Despite what Glasto say about "only Seetickets sell tickets", some glamping companies do, and it always seems to bundled with accommodation of some sort. Not seen anything for less than £6k for 2 people which includes tent and festival entry - and the actual 'hospitality' bit (i.e. the backstage area) is sometimes around a £2k uplift. They know what they've got, basically. Though I do wonder in what circumstances Glasto give them to the glamping companies and why - is it to say thanks for taking camping demand away from their campsites or what?
  24. They massively, massively don't. Not even people within the same group go to the same effort.
