I think, in fact I know, sometimes we put huge pressures on ourselves to be something specific at Glastonbury. To always have fun, to find it amazing all the time, to maximise everything happening there. It’s this magical oasis that pops up and disappears and what if I don’t make the most of every second? I went every single year from the 90s and then I had an 8 year break. At first a decision - because of all of this pressure above I felt there on myself - and then couldn’t get tickets then Covid. But maybe I wasn’t really ready to be back until I was. Second run around I realised all this pressure I felt was also something part of it, something to sit with. My world doesn’t change and my pressures, my hurts, just because I am in these fields, and I learnt to be a bit more gentle with myself and kinder. Glastonbury has become ritualistic to me now. It’s midsummer, it’s this space I try to reset, try to reflect, be around all these people. But the person I take is me - whoever I am - and wherever I am, and that’s ok. So this is all to say I hope you have grace for yourself and if you get there and you are hating it, that’s totally fine and normal, and you can even go home. Just take care of yourself as best you can and I hope you have a blast!

If you’ve got the picture and it looks the same as the one from Facebook then you know you’ve got the right person!

Have you moved in to your house recently? If not that's pretty random for someone to have their ticket sent to your address. Hopefully you can make contact and get it sorted.

Are you going to Glastonbury yourself? It might be a different name on the ticket inside. -
