In fairness, Deftones have sold out Crystal Palace Park and the O2 in the last year and a bit, so there is a slight element of over saturaturation, plus this is on a Sunday, which is always a harder sell, particularly in this economy.    Also Download is the premier big name Metal festival in the UK, with a much deeper lineup over three+ days, while APE relies on the individual headliners a lot more.
