Crowd-funding your way to festivals

New crowd-funding website We Can Go Dutch (vested-interest disclaimer: I launched it) helped 250 people hire their own 5 coaches to take them from London to All Tomorrow's Parties weekends on the South coast before last Christmas - getting them door to door much cheaper and easier than otherwise. It's cheap per person because it's just everyone getting together to divide the hire cost between them.

We're running more coaches for ATP in May, but we want to know who else wants to do something similar. We are even looking into chartering two entire trains to Glastonbury this year, one from Scotland and one from London. Chartering your own train is simple enough if you have 450 or so people who want to share the cost. There's no additional charge on the share cost when you crowd-fund with us, it's the suppliers who give us a commission for helping them do more business.

Aside from transport, there's no limit to what people can crowd-fund with friends and like-minded people. We'll happily help with anything you can think of! But if you think 48 people might want to join you on a coach to that festival, let me know...
