hi this will be my first year at sonisphere , ive been to a few festivals before - titp and download and one thing i hate is the walk to the campsite especially after a 10 hour drive and ladden with crates of beer,so this year ive decided to buy my carry oot when i get there,so im wondering what beer is available and where on the campsite im looking hopefully for a couple crates of cans,if not is there anywhere near the site supermarkets etc. where i could pick up a few, also just out of curiosity what kind of beer is sold in the arena and how much is it a pint ?

cheers

I'm not a beer drinker so can't comment on that, but one thing i can share is that there is a Tesco just behind the railway station in Stevenage, so you can get the free shuttle bus back to the train station, load up at Tesco, then be dropped off near the festival entrance again. There is a supermarket in the campsite, but i wasn't in it last year so can't comment further on range or prices. Best place for info is the Sonisphere forums themselves got a food/drink subthread - http://www.sonisphereforums.com/viewforum.php?f=25
