From personal experience i say go! I went to 2008 just after my mum passed away, i really wasn't sure i wanted to go as it was my first year and she was meant to be taking me, but her partner and my brother talked me into, and i can honestly say, although there were moments (mainly songs) which reminded me of her and was heart wrenching, it was honestly the best time ive ever had at a festival and has made me feel very close to Glastonbury as a whole! Not exactly the same, but along similar lines Lots of happy people having lots of happy times, it's bound to make you happy
