campervan pitches

Hi all need help here i have read that the campervan pitches are approx 6x6m the rv we have hired is about 10m long has anyone else taken a van/camper over the size stated before?

just don't wanna turn up and have grief (or does anyone know how to contact the organisers i have tried emailing them but have got no reply)

6x6meters? Doesnt that make it a square? That doesn't seem to make much sense on their part!

They're not pitches as such, more just turn up and park. You shouldn't have any problems. We only had a VW camper but some people had film star size trailer things and were fine. There was plenty of room.

Cheers for that we went a cpl of years ago but only had a small van then and tbh didn't really pay to much attention to the other one's around us!

so looking forward to it now! think i might be sacked for not shutting up about it!

We couldn't get a camper ticket this year :-( do you think if we came with you and parked really really close behind they would mistake us for a hollywood type long wheel base we could pretend to be a coach:P

that wouldn't be the end of the world i just wanna get in!!!!! i suppose i could just drive over them!

red ! this is a hollywood type thing got a blindin price and was no cheaper then a standard 4 berth van!

we got it as got to pick the kids up onthe monday and take them to france in it (not looking forward to that drive)

OMG, you've got to drive to France on Monday?! I struggle to walk by monday The idea of having to cope with kids and France, hurts just thinking about it. Good luck with that! Might come and have a nose at your van though, sounds like we'll be able to spot you. We've resigned ourselves to the fact that we are going to have to leave our little bus at home Never mind there's always next year!

Hi everyone - we have a campervan ticket going spare if anyone's interested? Due to personal circumstances we can't stay for the whole weekend now so I've got one ticket in my grubby mits, if anyone's interested I can get in the post special delivery. If not can arrange to meet in the Ipswich area..

when we where in a van last time we visited a load of friends at there tents but that was on the friday night when pretty much anything went! they could not get in to see us though!! hoe you get the ticket as we should meet for a beer! there are 4 of us going me and a pal and better halfs!
