Camping - Arrive late Friday or Eary Saturday?

I have a problem as I cant decide what to do. I am working on Friday and would not arrive at the campsites until say 9pm - would this be a very bad idea in terms of traffic chaos?

Has anyone ever arrived on the Saturday - say 7am? Any ideas as to traffic congestion or even if this is possible?

Any tips and ideas would be appreciated.
