Ticket issues - t'issues?

Hi guys, haven't posted on here in a while but major issue has cropped up and I need your expert help.

My friends tickets haven't arrived and when they rang See Tickets (don't even get me started on that company) they said they can either have them sent but they're having problems getting things sent out at the mo and it'very close to the festval now so they might not receive them in time or they can collect them at the venue. Trouble is they don't know whereabouts the pickup point is. I know the international tickets used to be picked up from Shepton Mallet, will this be the case for these UK tickets? Also, we like to park on the side of gate D so we have quickish access to Pennards Hill, really don't want to have to drive round to Main gate to pick up mates' tickets then drive off to west car parks to get in.

Any ideas where the pick-up point is and the logistics of getting our mates tickets and to our preferred car park? We're aiming to arrive at about 8am.

The Box Office has been just outside PGA (where the coaches and shuttle buses drop peeps off) at the NW corner of the site for the last year or so. I'm fairly certain it's the same this year but can't seem to find any definitive info to confirm it. See should be able to tell you for sure though. It's about as far as you get from Pennards unfortunately ... but still way closer than Shepton Mallet and all the stupidity that went along with getting there and back in years gone by :P

Thanks mikeb.

Unfortunately they asked See and they just said you can pick-up at the venue. When pressed for which gate they had no idea -appalling!

Definitely a lot happier knowing it is at the site though, it would be a nightmare trying to get into Shepton Mallet. Can't wait to pitch up and go a bimbling :P!

word of warning, when I arrived last year on the Wed at about 10am , there was a MASSIVE queue of people waiting to pick up tickets near gate A and it didnt look like it was moving very fast at all , so would definitely try and get there as early as possible otherwise it could be a long wait !

It shouldn't be anything like as bad this year unless there have been some humongous c*ckups somewhere. In the past ALL International tickets had to be picked up as well as all the last minute UK sales last year so there were absolutely massive queues. But this year they actually posted International tickets out - or at least most of them apparently got posted out anyway. Prepare for a queue and all that but someone at See is likely to lose strategic parts of their anatomy if it's anything remotely like last year's nightmare I would guess ! By all accounts, it was a very high profile nightmare last year and no one from ME down was in any way impressed.
