Rhys Darby would be quality, but unlikely now he's in films.

First one to say Bill Bailey, Dara O'Brien, Frankie Boyle, Lee Evans, Ricky Gervais, Jimmy Carr etc. Gets a slap for being thick :)

Anyone who's stand up DVDs actually sell, are too big.

My guess for the headliners are

Tim Minchin - Jim Jeffries - Mark Watson

infact if there was a place where I could bet on these things Id put a lot of money on Mark Watson being a headliner

Others that I think will be there

Paul Sinha

Beansontoast

Andrew Lawrence

Adam Bloom

Greg Davis

Rhod Gilbert is doing quite a few Edinburgh Festival preview shows at our clubs in June and July and then Edinburgh in August. Am fairly sure he is not doing Reading/Leeds, which is a shame as I think he's the best act around at the moment.

Shall try to make some enquiries about who is on the bill..

I totally agree, Rhod Gilbert is excellent. He is much better than some of the "big" overated British stand ups around at the moment.

I think we may have a chance with Rhys Darby he is still quite a cult act and certainly nowhere near as well known to the general uk public as Michael Mcintryre was last year.

Jason Manford or Sean Lock are possibles too.

No-one is too big to do the comedy set at a music festival.

Most of the acts won't be anywhere near as big as say, the Mock the Week regulars, maybe none of them will, but it's not impossible that one or two will be. Mark Watson is a good shout in my opinion, although I don't think he'd automatically headline. Ordinarily of course he would, but for a lot of comedians the attraction of doing a set you're too big for at a music festival for less than you normally would is that you get to watch your favourite band backstage at that music festival.

EDIT: That said, I really hope Brett is, to the letter, spot on.
