tafhag
It seems that The Doghouse might not be back at Wychwood next year. Why I ask? They gave us a great line up - yet again- full of surprise's and sweet memories of last year including, The Travelling Band ,Ten Bears & Kathryn Edwards from last years line up, and the charms of Becca & the Broken Biscquits, Jake Flowers and Butler Williams from this years, and that's just for starters. Whats more, not a bean has gone to the bands or The Doghouse, if anyone can give you better value for money than that bring them on! I'm not usually one to gripe or start a campaign but on this front - being a 5 times Wychwood attendee- I'm making an exception. Bring back The Doghouse! If anyone else feels the same please add to this thread and flex a bit of people power. Oh and by the way, thanks to all the guys and gals from The Doghouse for a bloody fantastic weekend. roundabout
I agree. A worriying lack of support on here, Mr Wychwood will think no one gives a toss. Maybe they don't, but me & Tafhag do, and the boy Jez, who accompanied his old dad for the weekend, does as well. So that's three of us. Will that help sway any decision do you think? Swifty
Seconded. I spent much of the weekend around the Hooky tent (not just cos I'm a drunk!) and I'm far more interested in seeing the bands that The Doghouse and Tom Robinson put on than most of the headliners. Considering The Doghouse folks and all the bands they put on were providing their services for precisely nothing, I think it would be dreadful if they weren't back again next year. Come on people - support this thread and support The Doghouse. You know it makes sense.
helena_merged
I absolutely agree - i did put in in another post, honest! The Doghouse always brings great music, and i think that the festival would be poorer without it. I really hope that they can continue, and from what they say, i think that they would like to.
