Stash!

This will be my first V and want to take a nice little stash of weed to get me through the weekend. Providing I get it past the gates is it best to leave in the tent and risk it getting nicked or taking it into the arena or do they have dogs inside?

Police regularly patrol the entire site.

My advice would be take it if you feel you can't do without it, but be prepared to lose it, get done by the cops or get it nicked.

reall just for the night so where in tent is the safest place, e.g. sleeping bag? or split half and half

I'm not really the best person to ask...

I don't take anything but booze with me. If I got caught with drugs I'd lose my job, so I don't use them.

as long as you take a sensible amount you shouldn't be caught either in the arena, or have it nicked from your tent. for taking into the arena, dont put it in your pocket, coz they might ask you to turn them out. put it in a shoe, or down the pants

if leaving it in the tent, just be creative, maybe inside an old bag of crisps, or in with your toilet roll. somewhere that thieves won't go looking through. they'll tend to go for bags and sleeping bags if they do go into your tent. but ive been going to V since 2004 and never had anything nicked.

in 06 i spent most my time in red campsite rather than in arena and during the day the police went round peoples tents with the sniffer dogs, took there drugs n then waited 4 them 2 get back 2 arrest them, i saw so many people being taken away by them it was untrue. Also, ive been stopped by sniffer dogs going into the arena before and they searched me n i dont even use the stuff. Personally i wouldnt bother spending so much money on a ticket to risk getting chucked out. But each to there own
